Interdisciplinary Performance Presented by Nana

"A Serpent's Lullaby" is a multidisciplinary performance where Nana will shapeshift into a mystical archetype inspired by ancient myths of serpents and dark mysterious creatures that carry the wisdom, secrets, and transformational energy pertaining to the natural ways of our earth. The dance & vocal performance by nana, live and originally composed music by Artik, costumes by Don Aretino, scenography by Alejandro Santamaria, and lighting will sooth you to enter the liminal realm of the conscious and subconscious - the place where our shadows lie. She would like the audience to accept the majesticness and uncertainty of our natural world, dive a little deeper into what haunts us and tell ourselves that it's ok. This performance is also the reclamation of ancient myths where in historical archives they are exoticized, sensationalized and depoliticized. Are we dreaming? Or is this real life...either way, don't wake me up.

"A Serpent's Lullaby" ist eine multidisziplinäre Performance, in der Nana sich in einen mystischen Archetypus verwandelt, der von alten Mythen über Schlangen und dunkle, geheimnisvolle Kreaturen inspiriert ist, die die Weisheit, die Geheimnisse und die transformatorische Energie in Bezug auf die natürlichen Wege unserer Erde in sich tragen. Die Tanz- und Gesangsperformance von Nana, die live und im Original komponierte Musik von Artik, die Kostüme von Don Aretino, die Beleuchtung und das Bühnenbild werden Sie beruhigen und in den Grenzbereich von Bewusstsein und Unterbewusstsein eintauchen lassen - den Ort, wo unsere Schatten liegen. Diese Performance ist auch die Rückgewinnung alter Mythen, die in historischen Archiven exotisiert, sensationalisiert und entpolitisiert werden.
