Playback theater performance "Share. Listen. Watch. Connect"

Playback theater is a form of improvised theater, where the audience

tells their stories and the actors and musicians turn them into a work

of art on stage. The name comes from a shortening of the phrase "We

are playing your stories back."

The stories are told during the performance and there is no need to

prepare anything. During the performance we hear a few stories from

the audience and see the connection between them. This allows you to

connect with each other on a new level, to heal, to feel like members

of a community and to gain inspiration.

In our performance, the stories can be about anything, pain and

longing, joy and laughter, school and work, yesterday's argument in

the kitchen or the most important relationship in your life, the

things you dream about and believe in. It is not necessary to prepare

the stories in advance, they are born during the performance. Come and

tell or just watch.

The main actresses:

Anastasia Vorobyeva – performer and activist, president of the

International Playback Theatre Network and founder of the Air Physical

Theatre Lab in Russia. Anastasia has worked and developed projects

with the United Nations (UNPD) in peacebuilding and the arts in

Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Nigeria, European countries, and the United

States.

Yuliia Terentieva – performer and activist. She is the founder of the

playback theater "Quintessence" in Dnipro, Ukraine. Yuliia is a

psychologist and works in education using the Montessori approach with

young people, developing creative approaches and unique working

methods.
